Idli Fry Recipe

Idli fry is an easy and yummy dish made up from leftover idlis. This delicious snack can also be used as an appetizer before any meal or can also be used as evening snack to complement your hot tea.This will gonna be a great offering if sudden guests are coming over.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Leftover Idli (Refridgerated).
  • Oil.
  • Red chilly powder.
  • Chaat masala or pav bhaji masala.
RECIPE:
  • Cut the leftover refrigerated Idlis into fingers.
  • Heat oil in a pan till medium hot or suitable for deep frying.
  • Add idli fingers into hot oil and fry till golden brown or till fingers become crispy from outside.
  • Drain the fried idlis on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • Sprinkle red chilly powder, chaat masala or pav bhaji masala and mix well.
  • Serve immediately.


SERVE HOT WITH SAMBHAR, COCONUT CHUTNEY OR KETCHUP.
