VEGGIE MOMOS RECIPE


It is one of the most popular fast foods in Nepal. Momo has become a traditional delicacy in Nepal, Tibet and among Nepalese/Tibetan communities in Bhutan, as well as Sikkim state and Darjeeling district of India. Momos have also spread to other countries like United States (some parts), UK and India.


INGREDIENTS:

FOR DOUGH:
  • 2 cups All purpose flour(Maida).
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder.
FOR STUFFING:
  • 1 cup grated carrots.
  • 1 cup grated cabbage.
  • Oil.
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions.
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic.
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce.
  • Salt.
  • 1/4 tsp Vinegar.
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper.

RECIPE :
  • Mix the maida, salt and baking powder in a bowl and knead to a stiff dough with water.
  • Brush some oil over dough and let it rest.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the onion and garlic.
  • Add the carrot and cabbage.Saute over high heat. 
  • Add Soy sauce, salt, vinegar and black pepper and mix.
  • Roll the dough thin and cut into small round shape.
  •  Place some filling in the centre and wet the edges.
  • Bring edges together to cover the filling. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way.
  • Steam for about 10 minutes.
SERVE HOT WITH SOY SAUCE AND CHILLY SAUCE.😋

Cheesy Vegetable White Pasta

Pasta is a staple food of traditional Indian Cuisine. Pasta  is generally a simple dish but comes in many varieties due to its versatility.  It is a most asked dish at home. So, all the Pasta Lovers out there....here's your easy and tempting white pasta dish with healthy and nutritious vegetables.  You can also cut down some calories by using olive oil instead of butter and skip the cheese.
