INGREDIENTS :
For Balls:
- 1 Cup Shredded Carrot.
- 1 Cup Shredded Cabbage.
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Capsicum.
- 1/2 Cup chopped Onion.
- 1 finely chopped green chilly.
- 1 finely chopped Red chilly.
- Soy sauce.
- Ginger-Garlic paste.
- Chilly sauce.
- Salt.
- Paprika powder.
- Cornflour.
- All-purpose flour(maida)
- Oil for deep frying.
For Gravy:
- 1/2 tsp finely chopped Ginger.
- 1/2 tsp finely chopped Garlic.
- 1/2 tsp finely chopped Green chilly.
- 1 cup finely chopped onion.
- 1 cup medium chopped capsicum.
- Oil- 2-3 tbsp.
- Soy sauce.
- Chilly sauce.
- Salt.
- pepper powder.
- corn flour-2 Tsp
For Garnishing:
- 1/2 cup Spring onions.
RECIPE :
For Balls:
- Add all the veggies in a large mixing bowl and squeeze them. Don't add water as veggies release water.
- Now add remaining ingredients one by one and mix them gently.
- You can add more maida and cornstarch( if the mixture is too loose) or water(if the mixture is dry. Be careful when adding extra water) till you get the proper consistency.
- Make small balls and keep them aside.
- Now heat oil in a pan.
- Deep fry Balls on medium flame.
- Fry until crispy or golden brown.
- Drain off the balls on a tissue paper to remove excess oil.
For Gravy:
- Take finely chopped Ginger, garlic and green chilly and crush them together.
- Heat oil in a large pan.
- Add crushed ginger, garlic and green chilly.
- Add chopped onion and capsicum and saute for a minute.
- Add chili sauce and soy sauce.
- Add dissolved cornflour and 1 cup water.
- Let it boil and thicken and check the consistency.
- Add Salt and pepper according to your taste.
Add Balls to the gravy and mix gently.
For Garnishing:
- Drizzle chopped spring onions.
